Helping students learn to make wise decisions in their lives! Our Wednesdays will include the Ultimate Choices video series, teaching time, activity time, and small group discussion.

We’re studying How to be a Godly Man/Godly Woman
Come join us as we look at this topic every Sunday morning in July at 8:30, 9:30, or 11:00 a.m.

9:30 Sunday School Help Needed
Our 9:30 Sunday School teachers are looking for another committed couple or single adult to help teach a combined youth class at 9:30 a.m. Click here to contact John if interested. We need to have another couple/person by promotion day, Sunday, August 24.

Summer Dodgeball Tournament
Friday, July 18: 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Get your teams of seven or more together and get your team registered by Wednesday, July 16. The cost is $35 ($5 per person). There’ll be prizes for the winning team. We have room for teams from other churches if you have friends who might want to play. All youth who have completed grades 6-12 are invited. Middle school and high school teams will play separately and the winner from each age group will play in the championship!

What are you doing for lunch on Tuesdays?
Join us for lunch on Tuesdays this summer! We meet at local restaurants like Rush’s, Wendy’s, etc. Locations and times to be announced in the bulletin/newsletter. Please remember you must provide your own transportation to and from the restaurant and church. 

Tuesday, July 1: Wendy's at 12:00 noon
Tuesday, July 8:  Chick-Fil-A at 12:00 noon
The gym will be open until 3:00 pm for students.

Favorite Character Night Talent Show

Calling all students in Grades 6 - 8! Come dressed as your favorite character from a book, movie, TV show, cartoon character, etc., and plan to perform as your favorite character (sing, do a skit, do a lip sync… be creative!) Prizes will be awarded for best costume and for best talent related to your character. (Next Middle School Hangout: Friday, August 1)

Friday, August 15: High School Hangout
Favorite Character Night Talent Show for high school students.

Please note: Students who have finished eighth grade can come to both middle school and high school hangouts! This summer, we want our eighth grade students to get to know some of the people they will see in high school next fall.

What is a Hangout? The City and the gym are open for students to come and hang out, eat, and just have fun! Watch your youth newsletters for more information!

Welcome to LBC!
We welcome Brian Lynn, our 2008 summer intern. He is a graduate of USC and just completed a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary. He is from Sumter, SC and will be working in all areas with our students this summer. Pray for him as he helps with our trips to MFuge and Summersalt, as well as his regular duties during the week.
