Senior Adults are the "cornerstones" of our church and are active participants in the ministry of LBC. Come join us as we learn and grow in discipleship. Out of participation, we can learn and grow in our Christian pilgrimage.

Senior Adult Bible Study & Prayer Time
Led by Rev. M. B. Lamb. Wednesdays at 4:00 P.M. in 406AEB.
Senior Adult Choir
Wednesdays at 4:45 p.m. in the Choir Room.
Led by Stuart Thompson
Our last Wednesday Bible Study & Choir Rehearsal for the Spring will be on Wednesday, May 28. We'll take a break for summer and resume in the fall, 2008. Look for more details in the future. |

Stay In Shape And Feel Great!
• Senior Adult Cardio Class meets every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
at 9:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center.
• Senior Adult Video Cardio Class meets every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 9:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center.
• Strength Training for Senior Adults meet at 9:00 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. |

Volunteers & Subs Needed in the Family Life Center!
We have morning openings for enthusiastic volunteers and subs! Volunteers work on a weekly or every other week basis. Please contact Amy Hanson (996.8840) for details. |

When Senior Adults Need Assistance
Many times, seniors need assistance in various ways, such as food, transportation, nursing care, etc. The senior adult ministry has compiled a packet of information on agencies and organizations in Lexington County that offer various types of assistance to seniors.
These services include Meals-On-Wheels, Home Health Services, Skilled Nursing Care, Adult Day Healhcare, Adult Day Care, etc.

Special events and trips are planned throughout the year that include Senior Adult Day (on the first Sunday in May), Senior Adult Retreats, Fall Apple Picking Trips, day trips, mission trips here in the United States and abroad, the annual Christmas Banquet, and much more! |

Ministry Opportunities
We also have opportunities for you to be involved in ministry through our Beyond the Walls ministry. There are many opportunities for service in our community. The seniors provide weekly worship services at five facilities (assisted, nursing, and independent living). The senior adult craft group provides a special craft for each of the facilities during the year. |

Vacation Bible School: August 4 - 6, 2008
We will provide lunch and help with crafts.
Toys & Toiletries for the Children
We are collecting gently used toys which will be used as incentives for good behavior and good grades, as well as birthdays. We are also collecting travel-size toiletries. Donations can be dropped off at the Senior Adult Ministry Office on East Butler Street. |
