Children's Ministry
|
Children are important to Lexington Baptist Church (LBC) and God. We partner with families to provide nurturing, meaningful, and enjoyable experiences through which each boy and girl can learn of God’s love and His plan for their individual lives, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

How Jesus would like me to be

Baby Visit
When a baby is born, Sandi Self, our Children's Minister, likes to visit with you and your baby in your home. We always call before coming and make an appointment. Sandi loves to hold new babies and pray with you and your new baby in your home!

|
Baby Announcement Board
On the first floor of the Children's Building, outside the Baby Room, we have placed a bulletin board. We place a tiny hand print or foot print on that board with your name and your anticipated delivery date when we find out a new baby is on the way. When the baby is born, please send us a picture by clicking here or by dropping it off at the Children's Ministry Office. Once we receive a picture, we replace the hand/footprint with your baby's picture & "stats". In addition, we enter your baby's name and birth date in the computer so you can easily check them in when they come to church for the first time.

|
Celebrating Our Newest Family Members
In celebration of new babies in our church
family, we will furnish a homemade casserole to the families of new babies. We will also announce new baby arrivals in the bulletin each week, |
|
Baby Dedications
During the baby dedication on the third Sunday of every month, parents acknowledge that the baby is a gift from God and commit to raise that child in a home where he will grow to know God's love and one day have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior. To schedule your baby's dedication, please click here. |
