We partner with families to provide nurturing, meaningful, and enjoyable experiences through which each boy and girl can learn of God’s love and His plan for their individual lives, leading to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. |

Sunday School
LBC offers an age-graded, developmentally-appropriate Sunday School program with a Bible-centered curriculum through which our children learn Biblical truths and grow spiritually.
For class locations, please visit our Welcome Center located in the Children's Education Building and our Information Center located in the Worship Center. |

Children's Worship
Children's Worship is a time for children to learn Biblical truths in an age-appropriate worship setting. Children join their parents in the Worship Center at the beginning of each Worship Service and depart for Children’s Worship in the Chapel when indicated in the weekly bulletin. |

Wednesdays
Choirs & Mission Groups for All Ages
Choirs are offered for children age 3 through Grade 5. Through choir, children learn about God, worship, and ministering to others through music.
Kids in Action (KIA) (Grades 1 - 5) is a mission teaching organization designed to lead our children to worship and pray while learning what missions is all about. The children participate in mission projects throughout the year. Through Mission Friends (ages 3 - 5 Kindergarten), preschool children develop an awareness of the needs of others and the work of missionaries. Mission projects are planned throughout the year.

Stage Lights '08 Talent Show
Wednesday, May 28: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Performances will be by children and the adults who love them. Information/sign up forms are available at the Gathering Place (CMB). Participants must sign up by May 21. |

Parents' Night Out in May!
Saturday, May 17, 2008 - 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $9 per child ($25 maximum per family)
Register for Parents’ Night Out in the Gathering Place (foyer) of the Children’s Ministries Building. Pizza is available for $1 per slice (include pizza money with registration fees). Drinks are provided at no charge.
Activities include Bible stories, crafts, a moonwalk, and gym/playground time. Class size is limited…… register early!! |

Parents' Night Out Helpers Needed

Cell phones are now being used to notify parents that their child needs them during the Sunday morning worship services and Sunday School. Please remember to turn your cell phone to silent. The children’s ministry will be able to notify you about your child AND our worship services and Sunday School classes will not be disturbed by ringing cell phones.

Labor Force Prayer Team
During the birth of a child, this team "stands in the gap" for parents by praying for both the parents and the child from the time they enter the hospital until the birth of the child.

Baby Dedications
During the baby dedication on Sunday mornings, parents acknowledge that the baby is a gift from God and commit to raise that child in a home where he will grow to know God's love and one day have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior. Parents' Night Out
Parents' Night Out is a ministry to families in which children (age six weeks to fifth grade) are cared for at LBC while their parents enjoy time together. Pre-registration is required. |
Mom 2 Mom
Mothers of preschool children from LBC and the Lexington community meet one Friday morning each month during the school year for fellowship, encouragement, special activities and speakers. Lexington Baptist Child Development Ministry - Weekday Education
Weekday education is provided Monday through Thursday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon, for children ages six weeks to four years old. We follow the Lexington School District One calendar year. Our skilled and devoted teachers encourage each child to develop according to his/her own needs and abilities while teaching them of God’s love.
